We have been using Numicon to learn about numbers and how to count looking for pairs of numbers.
Once again an amazing residential, with memories made for the children which will last a life time. Thank you staff, for your hard work and commitment and giving up your time with your own families. Mrs Greenwood and Mr Williams I hope you both were inspired by the experience as leaders of this fabulous experience. Miss Snowden as you begin your career in teaching I can see you are already a great teacher, lucky, lucky children! This is what it’s all about.
Mrs Forshaw, Mrs Morris, – what can I say? Superb, as ever. Misses Reed, Ryalls and Haller your first venture and again so proud of you all.
Children, your parents will be proud to know that everywhere we went we had comments about your excellent behaviour and good manners. Meal times were a social delight (if a little noisy at times!) and you need to get much better at tidying your rooms before Northumberland!
We had many highlights, but going to a west end theatre to see the Lion King was the icing on the cake!
Parents, we hope you enjoyed following our blog and sharing our days, it certainly sounds like it from your positive comments.
Thank you for your responses and helping the blog to be so successful, we have a number of parents vying for ‘best parent blogger’! Thank you also for your kind words and thanks, we do appreciate it.
See you tomorrow all – don’t you just wish it was Friday night?
Mrs Fearnley xx
We are just about to drive through Wickersley. We have had a fabulous journey. Thank you so much to all the parents for following the blog. I really hope the children get the chance to look through the photographs of their journey. See you all soon.
After a wonderful morning sight seeing all the children are now back on the coach heading home. We will keep you updated on times of our arrival. We aim to be back at school for 5.30 with 87 sleepy children.
